Please do not contact Alcatraz about purchasing tickets for the ferry - use the links below for information about prices, schedules, and to purchase tickets.

Access to Alcatraz is by ferry service operated by a concession of the National Park Service only. No private craft can dock at Alcatraz Island.

There is no separate entrance fee for the island (Park Passes do not apply to the charge for the ferry service).

To purchase tickets in advance (strongly recommended as Alcatraz frequently sells out) contact the Blue & Gold Fleet. This is for travel dates prior to September 25, 2006. Blue & Gold Fleet departs from Pier 41.

For schedules, ticket prices, and to purchase tickets for dates starting on and after August 25, 2006, visit the Alcatraz Cruises website. Alcatraz Cruises depart from Pier 33.
